Jonny was playing along with Carmel Sheerin & The Ravens.

They recorded one of our songs (Skylarking) with Grammy Award Winning producer Bil Vorndick!

Money

We're gonna be playin a gig in the Oh Yeah Centre, Belfast, on Friday 6th Nov' for BBC Radio Ulster's Across The Line programme!

As far as I know, the gig's on the subject of money & hard times! It's being broadcast & you can be in the audience!

Jonny's back from Nashville in one piece & he's now the proud owner of a new Stelling banjo! It's the stylest lookin instrument I've ever seen! I'll get some photos up here soon!

Wrapped Up in Books

We're playing No Alibis Bookstore tomorrow (Fri 2nd Oct')!
Can't wait - it's always a style atmosphere in amongst the books!

This last while's been flat out; TV & radio sessions, a good few gigs, lots of press & then Mr. Lightbody's surprise review for Q! Mental!
Let's hope it lasts!

Jonny's off to Nashville with Carmel Sheerin & The Ravens on Monday! When he gets back we'll be working up more material for the next album & hopefully gigging a good bit more!

Homeward Bound

Thursday night saw us returning to playing live after most of 2009 spent in the studio!
It was also a return to The Railway Bar, Lurgan (the last gig we had there was 27th July 2006)! Mental!
We had a brilliant night and would like to thank everyone who turned out to support us!
The new material seemed to go down a storm and we can't wait to build on it!
We're hoping to be back in The Railway before Christmas!

We've a load of stuff happening over the next while including a gig next Fri (25th) for Culture Night Belfast - this is open to members of the public for free so please drop by if your in the area!

On The Road Again

We've been flat out this last while with various bits & pieces, here's some of what we've been up to:

• Been booking gigs for the coming months (including our first Dublin show - The Cobblestone, Sat 21st Nov'). Can't wait to get out "on the road again"! Playing live is something we wanna concentrate more on in the future so keep checking our myspace page for gig updates!
  
• We've started working on the material for the 3rd album and are really happy with how it's sounding. Playing as a 3-piece is definitely changing how we approach things & everything feels really fresh at the minute! We'll be playing some new material at our upcoming shows!
  
• Reviews have started coming in for The Dawn Chorus & so far they've all been really good so happy days! I'll get these scanned soon & post them!
  
• We're gonna be playing some radio shows soon so keep checking our gigs listings for details. We're also doing a bit of filming for TV soon, i'll post details of this when I know more!
